Hello, I'm Timo.
In my spare time I like to do outdoor activities. Climbing, running, and hiking belong to my interests but I'm always excited to try out new things. I also like to cook, read I'm interested in woodwork.

Software Engineering

As a software engineer, I'm committed to build high-quality data pipelines and applying modern methods such test-driven-development using PySpark, Databricks and hyper scalers such are Azure.

Data Science

I try to create reliable, save and explainable models using Python, PyTorch, Scikit Learn and Ray for hyperparameter optimization Ray. I'm also interested in data story telling using PowerBI, TIPCO Spotfire and Tabelau.

Adventures

As I climber, boulderer and adventurer, I enjoy being outside with friends and challenging myself mentally and physically while working on difficult problems. For me, this is more than just a sport, it is a metaphor for live.

XAI - Explainable Decisions for SHAP-Values

For my Bachelor Thesis I compared different methods and in particular variants of SHAP-Values to determine what are suitable XAI-Methods if once wan't to use those techniques in an upload-filter application.

Self-Driving Car

For my IT-Projekt I decided to build a self-driving car with help of a CNN, implemented in Python using TensorFlow.

Jiggsaw Puzzeling

For my master thesis I builded a application which could help researches by pre-selected puzzle peaces from historical fragments (papyrus). I used metric learning along with different pre-processing techniques to determine a fast and reliable pipeline. For the application itself I used
